Travala.com lists 2.2 million hotels, accepts crypto payments. More than 100 cryptocurrencies can be used. A partnership with Skyscanner is expected to increase traffic.
Crypto-friendly travel platform Travala.com said it has tied up with global travel marketplace Skyscanner. Blog post.
The partnership will allow Skyscanner’s 110 million monthly users, who complete 80 billion searches every day, to access Travala.com’s inventory of over 2.2 million hotels, book and pay for them with traditional payment methods as well as over 100 cryptocurrencies.
“Visibility is a key factor in mass crypto adoption,” said Juan Otero, CEO of Travala.com. “By featuring Travala.com on Skyscanner, one of the world’s most popular travel marketplaces, we demonstrate the utility of crypto and present it as an available option for travelers from the moment they start their first search.”
Integration with Skyscanner makes Travala.com discoverable alongside leading travel agencies like Expedia, Booking.com and Agoda. Highlighting the benefits of booking hotels with crypto is expected to increase traffic to Travala.com.

Users who select a hotel from Travala.com via Skyscanner will be redirected to the Travala.com platform to complete their bookings.
There, they can receive rewards through the AVA Smart program, which offers up to 10% rebooking discounts in Bitcoin and other web3 travel rewards.
